Retail on the Web Seminar - Terms and Conditions of Supply
1. Definitions
1.1 The following words have the following meanings in these Terms and Conditions:
"Client" means the person, firm or company who buys tickets or agrees to attend the Event.
"Website" means the website accessible at www.retailontheweb.co.uk or any other site notified to the Client from time to time.
"Organiser" means Sitemakers Ltd of Curry Rivel, Somerset.
"The Event" means the 'Retail on the Web' Series of events taking place in UK mainland locations at the dates and times specified on the www.retailontheweb.co.uk website

3. Description of goods and services
3.1 Sales of event tickets through our website, which will be confirmed by e-mail and collected at the event.
4. Delivery Policy
4.1 There is no physical delivery necessary as all tickets bought online will be collectable on the night at the main entrance of the event.
5. Agreement
5.1 The Client agrees to attend the Event subject to these Terms and Conditions to the exclusion of any terms which the Client may purport to apply under any purchase order, confirmation of order or similar document.
5.2 The Organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any request for admission to the Event and shall notify the Client accordingly.
6. The Price and Payment
6.1 The entry fee per person charged by the Organiser for the Event is £15.00 plus VAT @ 17.5%.
6.2Payment shall be made through the website at the point when the Client makes a request to attend the Event.
6.3 Payments are to be made in Pounds Sterling only.
7. The Event
7.1 The Organiser may amend the Event specifications and/or cancel the Event without prior notice. If the Event is cancelled then the entry fee paid will be refunded. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the Event.
8. Warranties and Liability
8.1 Subject as expressly provided in these Terms, all warranties, conditions or terms implied by statute or common law or otherwise are excluded.
8.2 Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Organiser's negligence, the Organiser shall not be liable to the Client by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under these Terms, for loss of profit or for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by the negligence of the Organiser, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the Event and the entire liability of the Organiser under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the entry fee for the Event.
9. Cancellation
9.1 If the Client wishes to cancel his request to attend the Event and does so within seven days of the original request and not later than 48 hours before the Event then any entry fee paid shall be refunded.
10. Data Protection Act 1998
10.1 To request admission the Client will have to enter personal data into the website including name, address, email, telephone number and credit/debit card details. The Organiser collects personal data to enable them to take bookings for the Event and would wish to use it to market future events. If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, other than for which it was originally supplied, we will ask you first. Your personal data will not be disclosed to other organisations, institutions and authorities unless required for the provision of our services or required by law. We will not sell, rent or lease your personal data to others.
